Deployment Scripts

• 1. Build Script (build.ps1)
  What this does:

  This is the main setup script. It automatically does the following:

  • Sets computer power settings to 60 minutes.
  • Turns on Wi-Fi and location services.
  • Connects to the 'Arrow' Wi-Fi network.
  • Renames the computer to 'ARW-' followed by its serial number.
  • Installs standard apps (like Chrome, Office, Teams, etc.) using Winget.
  • Runs Dell Command Update to get all drivers and firmware.
  • Installs all available Windows Updates.
  • Finally, it will automatically reboot the computer.
• 2. Domain Join Script (Join.ps1)
  What this does:

  This is the final configuration script. It will:

  • Prompt you for your admin credentials.
  • Join the computer to the arrow.local domain (in the Haydock OU).
  • Install the RMM (CentraStage) agent.
  • Install the Invgate Insight agent.
  • Run a Group Policy update (gpupdate).
  • Run Dell Command Update again for any final drivers.
  • Install any remaining Windows Updates.
  • Clean up all the installation scripts and folders.
  • Automatically reboot the computer to complete the process.
